Researchers assessing catalyst-based non-chemical water treatment (NCWT) at the Frank E. Moss Federal Courthouse in Salt Lake City, Utah, found that the technology dramatically reduced calcite buildup and had immediate payback when compared to a chemical (salt-based) system.
