<p>For several years during the 2000&rsquo;s online community professionals gathered together annually to share and learn from each other. Recognizing that online community practice continues to evolve, &nbsp;a group of Bay Area community managers felt the need to revive the unconference tradition to gather together online community and social media professionals to share their collective knowledge and real world experience to address today&rsquo;s pressing topics.</p>
<p>We believe that online community and social media professionals represent the most current sources of information on creating healthy and sustainable online communities. Connecting this community of practitioners, and tapping into our collective knowledge and real world experience is exactly what we intended to do during the Online Community Unconference 2013.</p>
<p>The format of an unconference allows us, as a group, to set out the day&rsquo;s topics and ensure that whatever challenges we face today and in the immediate future have a chance to be addressed with our peers.</p>

This is why we have created this free and open space for social enterprises to tell the millions of Guardian online users who they are and what they have to offer.</p>
<p>This is for social enterprises at all stages of development: from start-ups to well-established, from local community organisations to those transitioning from government. It is intended to be accessible and inclusive, to allow for the diversity of the social enterprise movement.</p>
<p>In order to have a profile social enterprises and social entrepreneurs are asked to answer a number of questions, which ask about an organisation&rsquo;s:</p>

<p>Our assessments are informed by external benchmarks and definitions, and we reserve the right to exclude or remove the listing of any organisation deemed inadmissible; or to ask for more relevant information. The Guardian will assess inclusion based on answers to the following questions, taking into account what stage of development the organisation is at.</p>

<p><span>Me gustar&iacute;a que esta p&aacute;gina no fuera el escaparate de un autor, ni de un proyecto filos&oacute;fico, sino una parte de ese proyecto. He escrito muchos libros, tal vez demasiados, y sobre demasiados temas. Pero los considero fragmentos de un sistema. Cada libro, art&iacute;culo o proyecto es como la isla de un archipi&eacute;lago. Parecen independientes, pero son las crestas visibles de una cordillera sumergida.&nbsp; Aunque el concepto no est&aacute; de moda, tengo la convicci&oacute;n de que la filosof&iacute;a, como todo conocimiento cient&iacute;fico, tiene que ser sistem&aacute;tico, es decir, coherente, universal y ordenado.</span></p>
<div>
<p>Para m&iacute; la filosof&iacute;a es el estudio de la inteligencia humana, de sus l&iacute;mites, sus posibilidades y sus creaciones. Es, de alguna manera, la reflexi&oacute;n sobre la evoluci&oacute;n humana, de la misma manera que la educaci&oacute;n es su puesta en pr&aacute;ctica. La primera isla del archipi&eacute;lago es una&nbsp;<a href="http://www.joseantoniomarina.net/category/islas/inteligencia/">TEORIA DE LA INTELIGENCIA</a>.&nbsp; La funci&oacute;n de la inteligencia&nbsp; no es conocer, sino dirigir bien el comportamiento, aprovechando&nbsp; la mejor informaci&oacute;n posible, gestionando las emociones, y ejecutando las decisiones. Est&aacute;, pues, orientada a la acci&oacute;n, y por eso no trata s&oacute;lo con conocimientos, sino con pasiones; no trata s&oacute;lo con lo real, sino con lo posible; no s&oacute;lo tiene que actuar, sino tambi&eacute;n elegir el mejor modo de&nbsp; hacerlo. Somos h&iacute;bridos de naturaleza y cultura, y la filosof&iacute;a intenta descifrar los mecanismos mediante los cuales la inteligencia crea cultura, y los caminos por lo que la cultura dise&ntilde;a la inteligencia. Este bucle prodigioso nos lanza a una aventura en la que podemos acertar o fracasar, por lo que necesitamos unos criterios que nos permitan orientar nuestra acci&oacute;n.</p>
<p>La inteligencia es inquieta y va continuamente m&aacute;s all&aacute; de lo que existe. Anticipa el futuro. Mediante los proyectos descubre posibilidades. La realidad est&aacute; a&uacute;n sin terminar, esperando que la inteligencia humana decida qu&eacute; hacer con ella. Esta es la experiencia b&aacute;sica que ha dirigido toda mi actividad intelectual. Somos seres humildes que anticipamos una grandeza que no sabemos si llegar&aacute; alg&uacute;n d&iacute;a. Nos mueve una urgencia exploradora, inventora, a veces magn&iacute;fica y a veces terrible. S&oacute;focles dice de los humanos que son&nbsp;<em>deinon</em>, extra&ntilde;os:&nbsp;<em>&ldquo;Se dieron a s&iacute; mismo el lenguaje, y les acometi&oacute; una furia constructora de ciudades&rdquo;</em>. Est&aacute; siempre en precario, teniendo que decidir entre una vida ascendente y una vida descendente. La filosof&iacute;a debe ser la estructura conceptual de la vida ascendente. Proyectamos grandes metas y despu&eacute;s nos entrenamos para estar en condiciones de alcanzarlas. La&nbsp;<a href="http://www.joseantoniomarina.net/category/islas/creacion/">CREACION</a>&nbsp;y sus mecanismos ocupan la segunda isla.</p>
<p>La tercera isla trata de la&nbsp;<a href="http://www.joseantoniomarina.net/category/islas/inteligencia-compartida/">INTELIGENCIA COMPARTIDA</a>. Nuestro cerebro es social y necesita de la interacci&oacute;n con otras personas para desarrollarse.&nbsp; Despu&eacute;s de vivir la emocionante era de la gen&eacute;tica, vivimos la no menos apasionante era de la epigen&eacute;tica. El entorno social nos constituye. La inteligencia social produce la cultura que influye en cada uno de nosotros. La cultura es creaci&oacute;n compartida, y de la calidad de esa cultura va a depende la calidad del ser humano.</p>
<p>Esa cultura es una manifestaci&oacute;n de nuestras necesidades y aspiraciones. Nos revela por ello parte de nuestra naturaleza. Somos seres que pintamos, componemos m&uacute;sica, buscamos explicaciones, creamos religiones, inventamos t&eacute;cnicas, planteamos y resolvemos problemas, construimos sistemas pol&iacute;ticos y establecemos normas de convivencia. La cuarta&nbsp; isla es la&nbsp;<a href="http://www.joseantoniomarina.net/category/islas/cultura/">FILOSOFIA DE LA CULTURA</a>. Su meta es estudiar c&oacute;mo emergen cada una de esas creaciones de la fuente com&uacute;n que es la inteligencia.</p>
<p>Si la cultura constituye y redise&ntilde;a la naturaleza humana, la&nbsp;<a href="http://www.joseantoniomarina.net/category/islas/educacion/">EDUCACION</a>, encargada de la transmisi&oacute;n cultural adquiere una relevancia ontol&oacute;gica: es la encargada de cuidar y dirigir la evoluci&oacute;n. Es la vertiente pr&aacute;ctica de la filosof&iacute;a y constituye la quinta isla.</p>
<p>Entre las creaciones culturales hay una que destaca por su grandiosidad. El ser humano es una especie a&uacute;n no fijada, que est&aacute; buscando su definici&oacute;n. Somos animales listos que queremos convertirnos en seres dotados de dignidad. La sexta isla es el&nbsp;<a href="http://www.joseantoniomarina.net/category/islas/gran-proyecto-etico/">GRAN PROYECTO ETICO</a>, que no es un mero conjunto de normas, sino una decisi&oacute;n constituyente que nos lleva inevitablemente a la acci&oacute;n, porque s&oacute;lo se mantiene mientras la mantengamos.</p>
<p>Me gustar&iacute;a, en primer lugar, que todos ustedes percibieran esta p&aacute;gina como un proyecto abierto, en el que puede colaborar a&ntilde;adiendo, criticando, completando. Ser&iacute;a fant&aacute;stico que la autor&iacute;a de un sistema filos&oacute;fico se fuera diluyendo, como sucede en la ciencia. Cuando estudiamos un texto de f&iacute;sica los autores de esos conocimientos quedan en un segundo plano, porque lo importante es que sus creaciones se han incorporado al saber universal.</p>
<p>En segundo lugar, un sistema filos&oacute;fico ha de corroborarse en su capacidad de cambiar la realidad. Por eso, debe desembocar en proyectos pr&aacute;cticos, que tendr&aacute;n tambi&eacute;n su reflejo en esta web. Para mi es especialmente sugestivo hacerlo aprovechando las nuevas tecnolog&iacute;as, porque la filosof&iacute;a tiene que ser un saber hacer de vanguardia y debe estar siempre en la frontera del conocimiento.&nbsp; Hegel compar&oacute; la filosof&iacute;a con el b&uacute;ho de Minerva: &ldquo;Levanta el vuelo al anochecer y siempre llega tarde&rdquo;. No estoy de acuerdo. La filosof&iacute;a es madrugadora e intenta siempre anticiparse.</p>

	<description><![CDATA[<p><em>Entendemos por EMPRENDIMIENTO la capacidad de iniciar proyectos, de luchar contra la pasividad, de aplicar las energ&iacute;as necesarias, planificar la realizaci&oacute;n, buscar los conocimientos y ayudas necesarias, soportar el esfuerzo, aguantar las frustraciones. Los antiguos lo defin&iacute;an como la decisi&oacute;n de iniciar empresas dif&iacute;ciles y pensaban que para hacerlo eran necesarias la prudencia para aplicar los conocimientos generales a los casos particulares, y la fortaleza para soportar el esfuerzo, arriesgarse al fracaso, y mantener el &aacute;nimo.
