Es la primera ocasión en la que el prestigioso congreso de la Media Ecology
Association se celebra fuera del ámbito anglosajón, buscando así llegar a
los investigadores del resto del mundo. Fundada por eminencias como Mumford,
Ong, Postman o el mismísimo McLuhan, la Media Ecology Association lleva años
trabajando en la investigación sobre la interrelación entre tecnología y
sociedad.
